It Should Not Have Been Written
This book should not have been written. Flight PS752, which took off from Tehran International Airport at 6:12 am on January 8, was supposed to land safely hours later in Kyiv, Ukraine. The passengers of that flight should have gone home to those who loved and waited for them. Those missiles should not have been fired. But they were. After those missiles, life changed dramatically for many people. The families of the passengers were caught in a complex web of pain, suffering, and anger that was intertwined with global politics and the judicial process in Iran and the international world. This book, which should not have been written, tells the story of suffering and struggle. The struggle against forgetting and the struggle against those who ordered the shooting down of the passenger plane.
