An Open Wound In the Sky” Call for Visual Artists

Artists worldwide were united in a call to submit artwork to be featured in, “An Open Wound In the Sky,” an arts and culture program that aims to showcase artwork that commemorates PS752 and the tragedy that remains in the victims’ community. By showcasing visual artworks inspired by the victims and their families’ ongoing fight for justice throughout Ontario, the program transformed grief into artistic expression, fostering solidarity and raising awareness. The open call invited artists to contribute their work, demonstrating the power of art in advocating for truth, transparency, and accountability. This initiative not only honored the lives lost but also strengthened the global movement for justice through creative activism.
