Statement of the Association on the Execution of Reza Rasaei

Like before, the Islamic Regime continues to exact revenge upon the people of Iran. This time with the guise of “punishment and hard revenge” for their terrorist guest, they sent to the gallows yet another helpless prisoner, Reza Rasaei.

The regime of ignorance and criminality is ever more prepared to kill hope, to kill the aspiration that justice shall prevail and criminals shall be brought to justice.

There is no other way for us than to break the cocoon of hopelessness. Our heroes are either in prisons or face death sentences. The power of our people is far greater than their revenge against the voices of freedom. 

We condemn the vicious murder of Reza Rasaei and demand the immediate, and unconditional release of all political prisoners. While Reza Rasaei was their captive, we did everything we could around the world to free him, and we know that this chain of murderous executions will only stop when the Islamic Republic Regime is no more. Until that day and for ever, we remain by the side of the families of victims yearning for justice. 

We shall never forget the murderers of Iran’s children, nor shall we ever forgive.
